Ensiling / Product Handling
The goods are packed in sacks, big bags or octabins and should be blown into a silo at the recipient's premises. Then this is a service we provide. We open the transport packaging and fill your product into a silo truck (dry bulk). We make sure that clean, suitable equipment is used. We use appropriate sieves to prevent packaging residues from entering the silo container. No matter whether plastics, wood pellets, animal feed (GMP), building material or minerals, we always have the right solution. For each product an appropriate process, i.e. a separate, clean thing, which avoids contamination with other products.
Our customers take advantage of this flexible option if, despite low storage capacity in the silo area, they purchase a larger quantity of raw materials than packaged goods. In many cases, we also take on imports from seaports such as Rotterdam. This has advantages, because our customers purchase products at attractive market prices. On the other hand, they build up back-up warehouses as a safety stock. If the supply chain breaks down due to unforeseeable events, our customers are able to make goods packed in safety stock available for them very quickly by opening the packaging/silaging, even for large quantities. This is realised immediately and in the shortest possible time, so that production downtimes are avoided. Dealers take advantage of the possibility to store packed goods in our warehouse at a reasonable price and, depending on the wishes of the buyer/processor, to have them delivered in bulk, from 24-25 tons per silo truck.
The supplementary service also includes the professional disposal of packaging waste. The empty packaging (bags, sacks, sacks) is pressed and disposed of. Alternatively, the emptied containers/load carriers can be made available for collection or, on request, transported/returned to a disposal address.
We can just as well decant loose goods from the silo truck into Big Bag, octabin or sacks (25 kg/ 40 kg). Here too we offer the complete process chain. Collection of loose goods in the silo truck, filling into the packaging, packing on a pallet and delivery by tautliner to the customer or stowing a sea container (20 ft/ 40 ft) including transport to the seaport.
